My name’s Reg Tiangha. However, you can call me Reg or Reggie if you like.
One thing you may notice is that I enjoy writing. A lot. Sometimes, I may not update here too frequently, but those that know me know that while I’m not much of a talker, I’m happy to overwhelm them with excess verbiage (and excess opinion, if you can manage to hit upon something I’m really passionate about).
I’ve got a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Japanese from the University of Calgary, but you shouldn’t take that to imply that what I majored and minored in is all that I know or all that I have interest in.
I do or have done many things.
Off the top of my head: Freelance writing, operations & logistics, office coordination, human resources, supply chain management, marketing, technical writing & documentation, business development, product enhancements & refinement, software development, system and network administration, technical support, customer service, Magic & Miracles.
Just to name a few.
My interests lie in many things. From technology, to science, philosophy, movies & TV shows, music, books, video games, anime, you name it. I’m actually very easy to please. Easily amused too.
As such, this blog probably won’t focus on any one thing.
Nope, this blog will act as my soapbox for anything I deem interesting. Whether it’s trying to promote the latest and greatest in open-source technology, showcasing articles I’ve written for various organizations, talking about the trials and tribulations I encounter at home, rants or opinions on my favorite NHL hockey team (the Calgary Flames, FYI), spotlighting interesting things I’ve done professionally, How-tos regarding things I’ve learned after fighting with various pieces of technology trying to get it to work, or conveying excitement over upcoming video games, movies, or domestic anime releases, you’ll probably find a little bit of everything here.
So sit back and check out what’s available. Maybe you’ll find something interesting.
Enjoy, and Welcome to Reggie’s World.
